Hi,

I am having trouble with this. I have a Canon MP210 connected to a windows 2003 server and I am connected to the file server via the connect to server option in the finder menu. I have setup and installed the printer on the server and can successfully connect from other windows computers on my network. I am just having trouble with this. Any help really appreciated???

I have been trying to get my Windows printer working on Leopard for months and this finally got it going, thanks for the help! It sucks that even at 10.5.4 Apple still hasn't gotten Windows printer sharing working properly through system preferences. Thanks again!

Followed your directions, am able to connect with our network printer, however, it keeps saying that the printer is busy when it is not. I know that the HPLJ 8150 printer is set up with a queue, but I don't think that should matter since in Tiger I got it to work. Any suggestions, let me know. Thnx.

Thanks man. It helps a lot.

Although it's quite strange when it comes to the password authentication. I can only get it work when I use my Leopard password, not Windows Administrator password.

Fantastic - thanks for the guide! Obviously I wasn't 'thinking different' enough to get this printer up and running without help.

Not sure - like I said I couldn't get it to work on any other account with permissions for sharing the printer except the local 'administrator' account for the PC.
